About me

My name is Maurizio Agelli and I live in Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy) with my wife and my two daughters.
I love technology, I love getting to know how things work, I love making things. This could explain why, many years ago, I decided to study electronic engineering. After getting my degree from University of Pisa, I've been working in IT for over two decades. During that time I've had quite a lot of fun managing projects, travelling and getting to know people.
Nowadays, I'm employed by CRS4 (Technology Park of Sardinia), where I lead the Digital Media Applications program.

I've been photographing since I was a kid, but only recently I've been considering it a bit more seriously. Landscape black and white photography is my passion. Despite my professional life is deeply tied to digital media technologies, I love shooting film. I am a proud member of the Royal Photographic Society, receiving my Licentiateship in 2011.
